The following testimonials are from exceptional patients who had really great results from surgical treatment. These reports are meant to inspire, not to advertise. Since surgery is invasive and always risks complications it is the last resort in treatment. We are blessed to have a number of really great, caring, technically excellent surgeons in our community whose patients have great results. The first step in treatment is to contact your primary doctor. If surgery is appropriate your doctor will help find the best surgeon for you.

"It is even hard for me to believe how well I am doing. I hesitate to tell you this, but I have been running for the past two years and am currently doing 50 miles per week. I am training for the "Rock N Roll" marathon in January. In fact I ran 12 ½ miles this past Sunday, without pain. I am also able to touch my hands to the floor, without bending my knees, and do a fair amount of lifting. In fact, there is nothing I can’t do that I was able to do before my accident and surgery. I am eternally thankful for the work you did repairing my badly injured back. Thanks to your expertise I was able to return to a normal lifestyle without pain and suffering. Thank you again"

"Dear Dr. Dan- How I wish you were still my surgeon... I do thank God for you and your expertise, I never have any pain in my right leg or ankle."

"Mountaineering, the pursuit of high, exposed and difficult first ascents, is the abiding passion of my life. After seriously rupturing a cervical disc and discovering that the right side of my body no longer answered my command, I thought I would have to give up that passion. The excellent surgical care I received at Arizona Center for Neurosurgery turned back that possibility. However, you are entirely responsible for the success of your rehabilitation. If you want it badly enough and work hard to get it back I assure you your body will respond. Dr Lieberman certainly did his job and I did mine..."

"I wrestled with essential tremor for 15 years. I had heard about deep brain stimulation surgery but did not know much about it. Dr. Lieberman spoke to our support group and I immediately made an appointment to see him. Dr. Lieberman’s skill as a surgeon resulted in an outcome beyond anything I imagined. He gave me my life back 5 years ago and I cannot thank him enough."

"I want to thank you so very much for the difference you have already made in D’s life. I hope to continue to see improvement in the short term memory but am so excited about how clear his head is, how almost perfect his balance is and how steady his gait. This result to your shunt procedure is the very best Christmas gift we could have hoped for. Thank you so much for making it possible."

-J.Y. and D.Y.

"As a patient for brain tumor surgery, Dr. Lieberman was compassionate, understanding and very knowledgeable. I was able to go through the experience; feeling assured I was going to be well taken care of under Dr. Lieberman and his entire staff."

"I fell and I was in a wheel chair for 11 months. I was told I would never walk again. I was referred to Dr. Lieberman and had spine surgery. Within 4-5 weeks I was totally out of a wheel chair. Fantastic and amazing!"
